The most loud thing about this night is the restlessness it brings along with it. It feels almost haunted, with many questions that could actually explain the restlessness, or not.
How well do you know the night? What could you write about the night? Has it been kind to you? Has it shown you its grace in the moon and/or the stars? Has it been working hard to make you feel more beautiful than you already think you are?
How well do you know your best friend? You have not talked to her in days. You probably miss her, maybe you don’t, it’s quite blurred. You should hang out with her some time this week, talk about what girls talk about over her coffee, your black tea, her croissants, your muffins. Then you could take a little road trip to Cold-Stone and talk a little more.Yes, you actually miss her, you’ll call her tomorrow.
You have been seeing someone. You have screwed up. You have saved face. How is he? Has he done all that you have done or has he done worse? Would you embrace his loss if he dared to welcome your damage? Are you really a willing soldier of love in this army of you and your ‘seen person’?
Things aren’t always black and white but the night only promises black and dark.
Thank you for stopping by
